For mini social media campaigns for hotels that don’t have large video budget, check out Slide.ly.  This super cost effective platform called “Promo” lets you choose from millions of short, premium videos. Footage, (royalty free) music and editor are included.  They keep changing their packages but currently there is a package of 4 for $99/month.  Cancel it if not a fan, or upgrade to one of the yearly packages.

In the hospitality space, use them to target local demand generators’ followers. For example, there are videos generic enough for golf, ski resorts and amusement parks that you can’t tell it isn’t the exact location near your hotel.  Also, there are different videos that could be used if you are trying to sell a romance package like a sign dangling on a hotel door knob or a woman walking in (fuzzy) hotel room. Another use would be if you have a spa or restaurant on site as there are plenty of videos in those categories as well.  Preview a few of their non-travel videos.

The videos can be used as is, or you can lay content over certain frames to act as marketing messages.
